Front operation
Brother’s colour laser printers are designed for full frontal operation. This means that changing of consumables and loading of paper are all done through the front drawer of the printer, giving you a greater level of convenience.

The front operation configuration enables routine operation and maintenance to be carried out with a minimum of hassle. Subsequently, space around the Brother Colour Laser Series can be used more efficiently.
  1. Replenishing of consumables can also be carried out from the front.
  2. Paper feed/discharge: carried out from the front.

Paper handling
In addition to a standard 250-sheet paper tray, two additional trays are provided: a 50-sheet tray for multiple paper types, and an optional tray* that can be added for one ream of paper (= 500 sheets). This results in an impressive total maximum paper capacity of 800 sheets of the same type of paper.

Taking the woes out of paper loading

We have special size sheets bearing our company logo for certificates and contract documents. When we want to print documents using these sheets, we have to replace the sheets in the normal paper tray with them. In addition, the paper tray does not hold one ream (500 sheets) of regular paper at a time, so we have to store the remaining sheets elsewhere. This makes our office look messy.
A Brother printer comes with an MP tray holding 50 sheets of any size. Since it can hold special size paper, it significantly reduces the hassle of having to change paper. Furthermore, optional 500-sheet trays can be added. Because we can add an entire 500-sheet ream into each tray, we no longer have to worry about where to put the remaining sheets.

What should I do?

iminating the stress caused by replacing consumables

It is only natural that high volume printing consumes a large amount of ink. But it is such a hassle trying to replace toner cartridges. Since our office is cramped, we put the printer on a shelf. When we need to replace the toner cartridge, we have to open the side panel of the printer. To do this, we need two staff members to take the printer off the shelf.
Brother printers are designed for full frontal operation. For instance, if it is installed in a confined area enclosed on two sides by walls, changing of consumables, loading of paper and removal of jammed paper can all be accomplished simply by opening the front panel. It is easy for one person to replace consumables.
